Abstract
In this paper I briefly review the book Inside Countries: Subnational Research in Comparative Politics published by Cambridge University Press in 2019. To assess the work edited by Agustina Giraudy, Eduardo Moncada, and Richard Snyder, I highlight the main contributions of the volume and pinpoint some of the issues which are left unexplored or undertheorized.
